A lifelong native of the Rio Grande Valley, Michael Pacheco has been engaged in commercial and investment real estate transactions across South Texas since 2016. He joined CBC RGV in 2019 and today serves as Vice President and co-owner of the firm, helping lead its growth into one of the most active commercial brokerages in the region.
Michael’s practice spans retail, office, industrial, and land assignments, with a focus on leasing, investment sales, and development advisory. He represents institutional owners, regional developers, and private capital throughout the Rio Grande Valley and broader South Texas market, advising clients on acquisition, disposition, and long-term portfolio strategy.
His performance has been recognized at the national level within the Coldwell Banker Commercial system. In 2021, Michael was named one of three honorees nationwide for the CBC “3 Under 30” Award, presented to young commercial real estate professionals across the CBC network for sales performance and community leadership. He has earned a place on the Coldwell Banker Commercial Circle of Distinction every year since 2021 — at the Silver level for 2021, and at the Gold level for 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 — a national production-based recognition awarded to top-ranking agents across the network.
Michael’s leadership extends beyond commercial real estate. He serves as City Commissioner for the City of Pharr, Texas, where he is one of the youngest members of the governing body and helps shape policy for one of the fastest-growing municipalities in the Rio Grande Valley. He also serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Nueva Luz Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to behavioral health and community wellness resources across South Texas.
Whether negotiating a transaction, casting a vote on the dais, or directing the work of the foundation, Michael approaches his work with a single conviction: that the Rio Grande Valley’s best decade is still ahead, and that building it will require the same discipline, relationships, and long-term thinking he brings to every endeavor.
